Who we are

VATA Dental Clinic ("we", "us") runs this website. Our address is St 376, Phnom Penh 121301, Cambodia, and our phone number is 076 669 9166.

What we collect

• Appointment form: your name, phone number, the treatment you're interested in, your preferred day and time, how you'd like us to contact you, and the website language you used.
• Messages and calls: if you contact us by Telegram, WhatsApp, WeChat or phone, we receive what you send us, including your name and number or username.
• Technical information: when you visit, our hosting provider records basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to keep the site running and secure.

We don't ask for medical history on this website. Please don't send medical details through the form. We'll talk about them in person at your visit.

How we use it

• To reply to you and arrange or confirm your appointment.
• To answer your questions about our services.
• To keep this website working and secure.

We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.

Your consent

The appointment form asks you to agree to this policy before you send it. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. We'll then stop using your information, except for records we're required to keep.

Who we share it with

• Netlify, which hosts this website.
• Telegram, which delivers appointment requests to the clinic's private staff chat. Only clinic staff can read it.
• Google, whose map appears on our Contact page. When the map loads, Google may receive your IP address and set cookies under its own privacy policy.
• The messaging app you choose to contact us with (Telegram, WhatsApp or WeChat), under that app's own terms.

We share information with others only when Cambodian law requires it.

Where it's stored

These providers may store or process information outside Cambodia, including in the United States. We use established providers and send them only what's needed to answer your request.

How long we keep it

We keep appointment requests and messages only as long as we need them to arrange your visit and keep a basic record of it. After that, we delete them.

Cookies

This website sets one small cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers your language while you browse and is removed when you close your browser. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add website analytics in the future, we'll update this policy first.

Children

If you're under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to book for you.

How we protect it

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only clinic staff who need your information to arrange your visit can see it. No online system is completely secure, so please contact us straight away if you think your information has been misused.

Your rights

• Ask what information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct it or delete it.
• Withdraw your consent.

To make a request, call 076 669 9166 or message us on Telegram. We aim to reply within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
